Preparation and Training for the Bar Mitzvah
Greetings,
My name is Hezi Levi.
For many years, I have been a guide for boys training for Bar Mitzvah; as well as an accompanying singer at events in a variety of settings and venues. I have studied with the best music teachers – both in Sefardi and Ashkenazi styles.
At Renanot Institute I studied and became fluent in Sefardi and Ashkenazi music; and also studied with the prestigious conductor, Mr. Eli Jaffe. In addition, I learned from the best vocal teachers – and am still learning and growing more and more, in order to maintain and improve my skills to be as professional as possible.
Every Shabbat I get to hone my skills with the combination of my abilities and training. Shabbat morning I read the Torah at the 'Horev' synagogue in the Rechavia neighborhood in Jerusalem in the Ashkenzi style and tradition; and in Katamon at a synagogue called 'King David' in the Sefardi style and tradition.
For many years I have assisted and trained young boys preparing for their Bar Mitzvah. The preparation is very engaging, fascinating and unique for everyone. The event day itself, is a happy day which is not forgotten.
Compliments repeated after every event include … 'This is not what we're used to!' … 'Where did the strong voice of the boy come from?' … 'We had no idea it was him …'
