Classical Music
Classical Compositions – Music for the Soul
The essence of Classical music. It is customary to think that Classical music is limited to Beethoven, Mozart and Hayden. Certainly three of the greatest 19th century Viennese composers whose works are considered great classics.
Over the last few centuries there have been many lifestyle changes, along with these come the changes in music arrangements and performance styles reflecting the current generation. Composers of music scores in these styles became recognized and joined with the historic leaders of Classical music composition. In Israel, it is customary to have a mix of musical styles for events and receptions. For example, alongside Beethoven or Mendelssohn's piece you will hear an Israeli song of peace or 'Little Flower' which is considered a Jazz standard. This blending of music is pleasant to the ear and considered Light Classical music.
It should be noted that playing Classical music requires a great deal of knowledge and skill: reading notes, understanding of musical styles, performance techniques and effective use of the specific instruments.
Classical music involves intense study at a conservatory, and after this the Academy of Music. The process is not simple and requires a great deal of patience, but those who succeed and are able to play the difficult compositions of Classical music – can certainly entertain at any type of event.
Along with the proper attire, a suit for example; a duo performing the clarinet (saxophone) and electric piano will give every occasion a sense of luxury and elegance.
Unique Qualities of Classical Music
As is known, Classical music has a positive effect on people. Medical studies have shown scientific proof of the soothing qualities of Classical music, as it speaks to the heart. Many times it is a subconscious reaction, where a guest at the event feels good without any other reason or explanation.
It is important that the performance of Classical music be professional. We at Yeroshalmim Production are very careful selecting the musicians and performing artists. All of the musicians and artists who work with us have academic degrees from Israel and abroad.
In the program of Light Classical music you will find works by Mozart, Beethoven, Dvorak, Mendelssohn, Rubinstein and Tchaikovsky. Besides these Classic composers there are the tranquil melodies and songs of Arik Einstein, Strauss waltzes and light Jazz.
Musical Group Options
You may select any number of musicians from 1 and up; but it's important to remember that if you desire a solo artist it is best to choose an instrumentalist to play the clarinet, flute, violin, etc. The accompanying musician would play for example the piano, accordion, guitar or an instrument that makes the complementary musical chords.
Also, a music ensemble of just a clarinet and violin (two solo instruments) is not successful without the accompaniment of an accordion or piano. Without the support of the chord ranges supplied by these additional instruments the music will be uninspiring and sound empty.
A winning combination for a Light Classical ensemble is a String Quartet – including two violins, viola and cello.
With a selection of Classical music, the String Quartet offers the greatest versatility as they can play classical hits of all time! You may add a singer as well.
